This has interested me in the past but it troubles me that they do not tell you what they put in their pills and say it's a "secret." You've actually used it, not had a heart attack, and also got the benefits described you say? I am actually considering getting some now, how would you say it compares to say a Red Bull?

On a more serious note, it could be your diet and perhaps lack of supplementation if you are training often. Check for glutamine, BCAAs and a strong mulitivitamins if you get a chance. Sometimes your diet makes you or breaks you.Last edited by Teh El Macho; 2/02/2007 4:41pm at .

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

If I drink a RedBull, I don't even feel it. Spike gives me a nice long, clean (no headaches or anything) buzz. They also have a Spike "Shooter" drink with 0 calories and a nice raspberry flavor (unlike Redbull and many others' "mystery piss" flavor). The drink's nice if you need a little pick me up because it hits faster (about 30 minutes vs. 1 hour with the pills) and doesn't last as long (about 4 hours vs. 6 with the pills).

I am in the Army, PT 5 days a week, and do BJJ 2-3 days a week on top of that. I also spend 7 hours a day in the classroom learning Arabic, and often have other bullshit to do after that. Most importantly, it is my sworn duty to keep idiots from posting in DHS, as well as to keep conversation productive and on-topic. Not to put too fine a point on it, but I'm fortunate to get 6 hours of sleep a night. I drink a 16 ounce can of Low Carb Monster Energy about half an hour to an hour before I train. It keeps me going.
Also, I tend to down a starbucks low-fat/low carb doubleshot thingy before I go to class (or on my way). Basically, I can't function without caffeine and energy drinks.Last edited by Cassius; 2/02/2007 6:07pm at .
