just through the first layer of skin. Picture trying to use the needle to remove what is in the center of a ravioli. Once the needle breaks through the the skin it slides in really easy. You do not want to go to far and puncture the cartilage and you want to put the needle in through the front of the ear.

Yes I use a new needle each time. You may have to puncture the ear a few different times during one draining session. I would use a new needle each session. You may have to move the needle around a bit when trying to drain the ear because the blood can gather in pockets. So you may stick the needle right into the middle of the swelling and get nothing.
I'm diabetic so I have a supply of insulin needles that work really well. I would recommend using insulin needles as opposed to a regular size syringe because the needled on an insulin syringe is really thin and does not hurt much going in. -

FYI you can also try to search youtube "draining ear" to find clips of this.

It gives you a good idea of how it is done. -

Tell them it's for Heroin, they'll give a lifetime supply for free... I hate this country.

That's actually a pretty good vid.

Although I wouldn't necessarily believe one was new if some guy just handed it to you and it happened to have caps on both ends. BE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GETTING YOUR NEEDLES FROM.
He actually fails to hit the pocket of blood on the first shot and changes the angle to start the drain. This is common.
You can see that there is a clear difference in the ear from when he started the process. This is typical as well. -

I've never bough any needles here in the US, so I have no clue if I need a prescription or some other **** before I go to the pharmacy. My freaking left ear has been tender for some time, so I rather have a few needles in case I finally get "earmarked". So I could just basically go to any pharmacy and ask for insulin needles??????

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
