It appears that Mike Johnson's club (and sister clubs in the area) are affiliated to this organisation.

I don't know anything about them although some of the names mentioned are familiar. Wonder if they can shed/know anything about their registered teachers profiles??

Being as he's on their showcase event, I'm guessing that not only do they know about him, but they condone him.
If we do get evidence that the grade's not exactly kosher, they should be informed.

Their actions afterwards would be quite telling.
Where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence.

That, my friend is whats called a "Circle Jerk" Organisation, I know about them.

If you take a look over that site ( and my recent postings in the Pics Of Disaster, Caption Edition Thread) You will realise that "Fighting Arts Of Great Britain" is a motherlode of BS.

If he's lying to himself/us/his webmaster/students he will certainly be lying to those fat losers

But feel free to fire off some emails, the more people that hear about this, the more chance of the truth falling out and banging its head.

Dammit! No +rep in this forum.

Sauce this is an excellent job well done, more motivation to get off my digital arse (since I'm sitting in front of a computer anyways) and go do something similar. If you're ever in Worcester (the smaller one, across the Atlantic) I'll buy ya a drink.

Zen judo seems pretty small, they haven't got much stuff out there. On he up-side, shiai still seems to be a requirement for advancement.

On the down side: I'm a tard for forgetting how to embed vids again.

So Zen Judo is for overweight blokes with male pattern baldness?
"Reason is a choice. Wishes and whims are not facts, nor are they a means to discovering them. Reason is our only way to grasping reality -- it's our basic tool of survival. We are free to evade the effort of thinking, to reject reason, but we are not free to avoid the penalty of the abyss we refuse to see."

You clearly didn't have the sound on.
Two fat bald guys grabbing on to each other and the music they pic says "let me wrap you in my warm and tender love."

I think thier idea of Zen doesn't match the other definitions out there.

Yes, they're not exactly the embodiment of athleticism and physical accomplishment that Kano envisioned for judo (who's traditions they supposedly espouse).

Shouldn't pass judgement with so little data though.
