Fedor Doesn't Approve of Magic Pants

Recently Fedor Emelianenko, guy in my avatar, responded to an interview on his Russian homepage. Being unable to speak Russian I will be relying on a pre-existing translation that can be found here.

Now before you verbally guillotine me for believing something I read on Sherdog I would like to point out that this translation is generally agreeable with those from other sources as well. It would be safe to assume that the message is at least generally accurate.

I'd just like to point out some interesting highlights.

Fedor on Aikido
Q. Would Aikido work in MMA?
A. No, I don't think it'd work.

Fedor on Systema
Q. What is your opinion on “systema”?
A. Don’t undestand the question. (this is an abvious sarcastic remark by fedor. Every russian knows what systema is. Fedor obviously suggests by this remark that Systema sucks, fake, BS etc. and hence doesn't warrant his attention)

Fedor on Natural Talent
Q. Do you think you have good genetics? Does that help in your fighting?
A. No, I think it’s hard work.

These are only several translations from a rather long interview. From the sounds of it Fedor's thinking is right in line with the majority of veterans here at Bullshido. Should you doubt this interview you can translate it yourself as it's on his Russian website.

And if he knew Ryabko's psychic Systema secrets, he could have hypnotized Cro-Cop into thinking that fighting Fedor was better than money.

This Russian fellow doesn't know what systema is (and no I'm not going to believe he OBVIOUSLY was being sarcastic just because the editor of the article put that in) and I'm suposed to give weight to his other comments?
