Leg warm-ups for better kicking.
So as some of you have seen, I have really pretty kicks that are very good. I was requisitioned by a fellow member to post my leg warm-ups and solo stretches that help me with my kicking. I narrrowed it down to this one that normally isn't ever done (I haven't seen anybody do it in an MA class except for the occasional ones I teach.). This probably is the best stretch for both leg strength, balance, hip flexibility and all sorts of things that'll help your kicks. I even made a video for you guys.
The basics of this warm-up is:
- Find some place where you can balance yourself.
- You stand sideways to the wall/bar/etc. and lift your knee that is opposite of the wall up.
- Turn your hip out to the side and kick the leg out and hold it there for a few seconds and then slowly drop.
- Do this for a few sets.
- Then go reverse. Leg out, drop to knee, then turn hips in and drop down to the ground.

****... that was really, really gay. i mean you have pretty kicks (that make you fall over) but ill be damned if that wasnt some flamboyant stretching.
oh yeah and if you are going to do this why not go the whole 9 yards instead of posting a single rather basic warmup exercise
Because the other stretches are what everyone does. This one is just one uncommon to the field and is worth of mention. Don't do it if your not fully secure with your masculinity to do something that'll improve your range of motion.
Assaulting his manhood is futile. Im sure he's heard it all with doing ballet and all( and its hard to do).

Seeing as ballet is the most manliest thing I've ever done, I don't understand your reasoning for it. It's a lot less gay than grappling.

Actually we do something similar in my school. But it's not a stretching exercise.Except it's different kicking positions.
1)Lift leg forward in front kick position and leave it there.
2)Lift leg low a few inches off the floor as though you're kicking a dog.
3)Lift leg in between at about 45 down angle.
Do different reps that you can handle with both legs.
Really works the leg for me.
