I once attended a "watch hour" service at a Pentecostal church with an old girlfriend. They didn't claim any martial arts powers but they did claim all kinds of other ****; world was ending that night and the only people to see heaven were members of their particular sect. The preacher then stated that he knew there were non-believing interlopers among them and that the wrath these people would receive would be severe. People worked themselves into a god-frenzy and started running around, speaking in tongues, and flopping around on the floor like fish out of water, all the while the preacher was screaming about Jesus being on his way to lay down his vengeance. I wasn't sure what to make out of it, but i promptly got the **** out of there. It was terrifying.

That seems fitting. There's definitely some weird **** going on at that place. I wish i lived in Cali so i could go to one of their classes to see what it was like in person.

I think this is the same as extreme body modification. You kind of maybe woulda wanna take a look at it in person, but should you ever, you'll never stop regretting it.
