More bagwork from me. Please come on in. :)
So here's a video of me doing some more bag work. Please excuse not using a heavy bag, my TKD school just moved into this massive MASSIVE dojang and has only been open for 3 days. The heavy bag stand hasn't been delivered yet. Excuse the music as well, the camera guy was saying stupid **** so I wanted to block it out. This was taken after an hour of hard sparring, so excuse my slow ineptness.

Your opponent is not wearing a gi, so it won't work in a real fight.

punch from further away, your arm is still halfway through extending when you are hitting the dummy. distancing is key and my coach would smack me upside the head for standing that close to the dummy without constantly throwing. move in, attack, move out at an angle, dont just stand in front of it. around our bags we have a zone where if you arent attacking you are moving out of the way or moving in to clinch.
remember that with al the training you do the thing in front of you, whether its a guy holding pads, a bob, a heavy bag, whatever, is an opponent throwing punches and kicks at you. visualise that whenever you stop attacking he will uncover and throw back. a good pad holder will be doing this anyway but still be aware when you are doing bagwork and treat the bag like someone trying to mess you up, not just something for you to thump away at
