Thank God for Rashad!?!?!
Who would have thought half a year ago that Rashad Evans would have the most exciting fight of the night with a great (and Brutal) KO
His nick name should be "Super Foot"

I dunno if it was that exciting. It could have easily turned into a 3 round wrestling match. But Greg Jackson (or somebody) made the right call and had Rashad mix up the high kick against a wrestler. And I applaud Rashad for standing instead of going for GnP.
Rashad also showed some really good chin in this fight, after taking two solid punches to the face/jaw. That'll come in handy for any title fights down the road.52 blocks documentary: arrived

that knockout was almost cartoonish in its freakishness. sack of proverbial potatoes.

""***UPDATE ó 11:05 p.m.: Folks, Seanís family is at the hospital with him now right now. Itíd be a really good idea to send some prayers his way. We couldnít get any specific news about any possible injuries, but heís going to need some good thoughts headed his way. Iíll let you know once I hear anything more. The best thing we can do right now is to stay patient and think positive thoughts. -UFCjunkie""

It always amuses me to see people talk alot of **** then get knocked the **** out. It seems to happen alot in the UFC, actually. One dude says a few things, other dude goes on and on about how badass he is, then proceeds to get his ass beat. Pure gold.
Also, yes. That was a cartoon picture perfect knockout.
And also yes, Heath Herring looked like a bitch. Did you seem him waving his hands around as he was on the ground all irritated like? And after the fight, he just seemed to whine about how he wasn't allowed to fight how he wanted to. Not that it was an exciting fight at all, but if I was in the ring and knew I could win by constantly taking someone down and working the ground a bit....well, that's what I'd do. You know, rather than stand there and let someone punch me because he likes it better that way. And now that I've said all this he's going to come to my house and kick my ass.

O'Brian is an animal on the ground. When he learns how to finish a fight, he'll be fun to watch.

Honestly, Herring should be relegated to un-televised undercards for the next 5 fights...or at least until he learns how to sprawl, close half-guard, close guard, shrimp, etc...maybe he should take 6 months of BJJ or Sub. Grap. before he tries to get back in the ring.
He throws fucking BOMBs from stand-up but his ground game was pretty lacking.
Who knows, maybe he had some ring rust or something, but it was a very poor fight.
Rashad looked pretty solid IMO and Herman's transition to arm bar from guard from the back was pretty damn sick.
Herman also didn't seem like his typical dickish self either and came across as a decent guy for once.

That might have been the most ridiculous KO kick since Mirko vs Igor.
Sean looks like he should drop to 185...seemed to be carrying "excess baggage".
GGMMA Record vs Llamas 0-1-0
(The Llama bit my junk but the ref didn't see it).

I personally liked the hermes franca / spencer fisher fight. Man.. those looping haymakers of hermes... WHO KNEW? I mean I've never seen anyone throw such goofy looking punches but they must have hit like an avalanche. That was an excellent fight, IMO.
The rashad kick... man that was needed after that clown sean decided to do a front leg jump front snap kick.. anyone else go WTF? when they saw that?
All in all a goofy night but aside from the total disappointment from the herring fight, it was at least not a total wash.
