Well, my instructor actually found out yesterday that I post here. Though he doesn't really care. He doesn't generally care about forums one way or the other.

IMHO - any student who's intructor is concerned about student postings on this site should be concerned about their instructor's concerns.....

I seem to get a lot of **** from people who know me IRL for the posts I make here (did everyone see that **** with the guys from my gym calling me out? HA!). I don't think Manu has ever heard of Bullshido, but I'm sure he's been made aware of my posts here by this point. It might get me kicked out of Alliance I guess, but thems the breaks.Ranked #9 internationally at 118lbs by WIKBA http://www.womenkickboxing.com/wikba...rch%202009.htm

If he didnt, he does now. My old instructors from nashville MMA didnt know about the site but i told them about a lot of stuff that bullshido does and they thought it was cool. I don't think they'd have any problems with my posts here because they were a bunch of trash talking fighter dudes that like to have a good time and I think i took to that mentality really well.
If my instructors do read my **** here then that's just peachy by me. I don't think it would change my posting much, if someone doesnt like the way I run **** then they can stop accepting my money and I'll go elsewhere.

I don't see any reason an instructor should care if you post here or not. What you do outside the school is up to you. If an instructor told me they don't like me posting here, I might respond that I don't like the car he drives. It dosen't and shouldn't matter.
If you post something defamatory or whatever invite them to come clear things up.

The guys in my dojo review wouldn't give a **** or care infact they would like the review and things I have said about Kombat and upcoming seminars.
My Goju-jitsu instructor might be somewhat irritated that I have the MMA gym listed in my profile (even though I did a GoJu-jitsu dojo review) and have nothing but good things to say, but explaining that since this is more of an MMA focused site Kombat is more relevant to certain discussions I don't think they would care too much.
Interestingly enough as part of my next grading for GoJu-Jitsu I have to write a report on martial art books I have read. I told him that all my reading and knowledge really comes from surfing the net. He thought that was great and told me to write a report on the sites I visit so I definitely will be focusing a lot on Bullshido.
What's interesting about it is that I now realize how much history and understanding of other styles and martial arts in General I have picked up here, and while he may not love the confrontational approach that goes on here a lot of the time, the fact that seriously honest discussions pop up would actually fascinate him, if he cared to spend time reading stuff on the Internet, which he doesn't.
