There are SO many WORLD CLASS instructors there in Houston, I feel sad that you aren't training with one RIGHT NOW. When you're ready to start, contact Eric Williams at www.elite-martial-arts.com and tell him I sent you. I'm confident that you'll find classes there that you'll enjoy and the people are great too!

I told one of my MMA coaches that I go to the same forum that sponsored J-Lau. He's not really much for the interweb.

I'm still on their news letter, they had a school right down the street from me but they moved a couple of months back. Right now I'm looking at going to Travis Tooke's BJJ place only thing holding me back is getting a job. We've had a sudden boom in MMA/BJJ instruction here in Houston, great change from all the TKD, Kung Fu and Rex Kwon Do that have been a staple around our town for so long.

yeah, he knows i post here. he thinks it's a waste of time, but he loves the throwdowns.

some people in my org hate the site, everyone knows i post here cause i go out of my way to invite everyone to the throwdowns (not that many of them show up.)

Yeah, Travis is pretty close to the old North School.

That may be, but were already so many good schools there to begin with.

Eric was the 1st BJJ BB in town. Alvis, Saul, and Yves have been there forever. Leonardo Xavier and Travis are more recent I suppose, and there are so many others that I hate to start listing because I don't want to leave anyone out.

I'm glad you're at a solid school and away from collegiate LARPers.

BTW, which college hosts those guys? Tim Mousel (a really cool guy and great instructor) has been teaching college classes for years, but I don't know which campuses off the top of my head.

If people would stop thinking tjhis site is a waste of time(specifically school owners) and come to see what we have to say, then we could make a huge difference alot faster.

Well you're a different story. I'm pretty sure the Super Soldier program files on you mention your being an Admin here.
