Style: JJ of the B variety--
We have a semi-regular that likes to go apeshit on the mat where I train. (When I was brand new, this guy was responsible for me barely being able to swallow my food for a week.) This guy has even dropped elbows on me. Anyways, after a solid 6 months of consistant training, I can handle this guy just fine. It's a good thing he really isn't very good. I suspect he behaves this way because he thinks aggression will make up for his lack of consistant attendance.
I know this does nothing to offer any suggestions, but I thought I would share my version of a similar guy. -

The mat spaz is actually a good thing if you look at it in a positive light. He allows you to test your skills on a totally uncoorperative resisting opponent. Too often in BJJ class we're told to use techniques, not brute force, but it's good to test out if that axiom is true when fighting someone who's strong and brute forces their way around.
If I were you I think I'd love to spar with him. It'll quickly show up the weaknesses in my own game. -
