Like I said I can't remember seeing them fight anyone to have a definite opinion on this one . It is mostly guess work and random number crunching on my end .

Silva seems to have more experience ( by a good number of fights , by seven or eight I believe ) while Lutter only has one less loss ( four for losses for Silva and three losses for Lutter ).

Sure Silva's record could have been padded by tin cans ... I don't know enough to defend my pick any further this though .

I will be reading with interest to brush away the level of ignorance I have on the topic .

Lutter's takedowns are good; they're just ugly. He fights ugly, but it's old school progressive position BJJ and he does it really well.

That, and he's undoubtedly a lot stronger than Silva.

His BJJ is why I picked him. I'm really just hoping we get a match that is ended via gogoplata rather than brutal elbows from half guard.

i don't see Lutter using too many elbows...he seems to like to finish guys off with subs...which will be good to watch

so, on that note.....fight should be interesting to see who comes out strong and imposes their game plan more efficiently

Wanted to give this thread a bump to make sure any late comers will see it. Team Bullshido is the largest team over there right now and we need to make sure it stays that way.
