    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Tetada Kalimasada-SouthEast Asian Bullshido?

Indonesian in origin with the usual claims being made:

-based on an ancient martial art
-project your energy to protect things, or
    -kill people from a distance!
-perform amazing stunts that defy explanation! and my personal favourite,
    -sustain kidney implants! (really!)

find out more at this website, the Indonesian ones were written in Bahasa, this one's in English:

but wait, like a bad late night infomercial, there's more!

see some truly amazing parlour tricks performed by TK practicioners as they try to convince themselves that they're "t3h d34dly". many bottles and light bulbs were sacrificed in these videos for your enjoyment:

and here's one from Germany, just to show how international TK has become:

i did a search before composing this and didn't find anything, so I'm hoping I've got something new to contribute.

The bottle trick seemed interesting... I wonder how it's done? Perhaps there's a weakness in the bottom of bottles during the manufacturing process? Seems to be done with water pressure...

I have seen some Karateka doing the same trick, and that's what it is, a trick. Hopefully someone with a little more scientific know how will come by this thread and explain the physics behind it.

Also, the thickness of the glass probably has something to do with it. I know in Asia it isn't uncommon to come across glass bottles that are almost paper thin, the right amount of force applied at the top of one of these bottles might yield the same result.

Same thing with their soda and beer cans.

I wonder if it needs the "pop-up top" similar to what you find in most Snapple bottle caps to help drum the shock of the blow through...
