I have to credit an EWTO school with introducing me to Remy Pressas. They hosted a two day seminar with him. I was a younger fellow and had no idea who Pressas was and so only attended after they cagolled me into it.

It was a great seminar, Pressas had a way of connecting with people at seminars that was very impressive. That started a long obsession with Kali/Arnis for me.

Oddly enough I first started with Judo for 2 years, then kick boxing for around 4 years - then after a break I started the _ing _un last year. I have never been to a "Wing Tsun" class so don't know how it would compare, but it does not sound much like my class at all. But when the OP said he spent £500 in 6 months on WT lessons?! shows what sort of organisation that is.

Interesting. BTW, it is ironic that Latosa Escrima used to be the best part of EWTO and now is the best part of EBMAS.
