    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Sayanora Genki Sudo

Sudo retired this year from the MMA scene. I for one was sad to hear him retire. His latest entrance was a spectical to say the least. It could have earned a grammy for music video choreography. I wish he could have stayed in the UFC for a longer time. Just so people in the US could see him regularly. He was a crazy off the wall character and an extremely confident fighter. His athletic ability and total disregard for convention was always fun to watch. The MMA scene has lost quite possibly one of the most outstanding fighters of his generation. Sadly he will never be as highly regarded as Roy Jones, Jr. or Ali by the fighting world. Sudo to me was on that level not only as a martial artist but as a human being. I hope to meet him one day and thank him for his contribution to MMA and to my view of martial arts.

It's spelled Sayonara. Now for the rest, sure he was a great fighter, but don't you think you're going a little too far on the compliments and praise?

Sorry for the mispell. Dyslexia kicks in from time to time.

How can you not praise or compliment him? Aside from his antics in the ring he has a great record and some pretty respectable wins. Plus he is way out there in the intellect catagory which is hilarous and thought provoking at the same time.

Of course Genki Sudo deserves respect. I just think you overdid it a bit.

He just thanked the crowd and said he had fun. Nothing has surfaced as of yet on his future plans.
