If that type of competition continues, it will quickly become identical to PKA-Style American kickboxing.

Worst punching ever! Looked like first time amateurs out there swinging wildly praying they land something. But at least things for them are moving in the right direction.

I thought the PKA was defunct years ago. No knees, elbows, clinching, throws, or sweeps. No leg kicks. The PKA had to institute rules regulating how many kicks per round were thrown because mid-level boxers came in and starting kicking everyone's ass. If some serious boxers came into the mix, you wouldn't know that TKD even existed in the matches.

I'm not sure about this "PKA" you're talking about, but FCR still exists and seems to be much more popular (competition wise) than muay thai or low kick rules kickboxing in the US.

This is kind of an unfair statement really, since TKD = pretty much the only martial art women ever do.

Duh! That's like saying 'water = wet'....

Of interest here is the number of morons scrambling to defend, justify or generally explain away what is generally thought to be a given.

    TKD

    THIS IS NOT AN EXIT

    No big deal.

    Just irony.

    A Japanese FC TKD competition.

Meanwhile in South Korea...slappy kicks continue to reign supreme.
