Has anyone on the forum ever trained with Peter Ralston??? If so, please give me some feedback. I want to do an intensive training and he offers one week to one year programs. Thanks in advance for any comments/advice.
Regards,
Lucky

I can't view the movie, but...

By the age of 20 he was a black belt in Judo and Jujitsu (Nidan), black belt in Karate (Shodan), had been Sumo champion at his high school in Japan, Judo and fencing champion at UC Berkeley, and had demonstrated proficiency in Kempo, Ch'uan Fa and Northern Sil Lum Kung Fu.

Good lord, that's quite a resume by age 20...

Consistent with Zen studies, his investigation into martial arts also came to include a questioning of reality.

I have some questions, too...

I think I've heard this before, in various forms...
Plus, it's like martial arts with group therapy:

I hate to correct you, but it's Magic Pants. Otherwise, you'll make baby Ueshiba cry...

i bought one of his books "principles of effortless power" at a used bookstore in SF, CA. If your in this area and looking for a place to train... look elsewhere...... this guy is a chump... a serious poser. unless you want westernized enlighenment camp... head to a real gym.
if your close enough to his place.. you are close enough to Fairtex in SF or to Cezar Gracie's camp.
save your time, money and energy and avoid this fake like the plague.

Extra points for "westernized enlightenment camp!" (slight deduction for the spelling error)

Dude, believe me - you DON'T want to make Ueshiba cry. If you make him cry, he takes all that effort you used and channels it into a four corner throw that you just would not believe. Seriously, you wouldn't believe it. You'll watch him do it on someone and you'll be like, "That's fucking retarded."
There's only one way to avoid it. Say it with me, "Don't grab the wrist..."
