Style: (Beautiful) Spring Roll
now I seem to understand most reasons against the system of the Beautiful spring held by Bullshido members/contributors.
Nevertheless, I'm on a kind of sociological quest to find out the EXACT reasons/situation when people realised that they don't like -ing -un, it's not working for them, etc...
So if you please, I'd love to see personal stories (names and locations can be changed to protect the guilty if you insist) like "for years I thought chun makes me a great warrior, then I was invited for a friendly sparring session with a jiu jitsu friend of mine and he tied a knot on me 10 times out of 10 without me being able to land a hit." or something.
Welcome to the year 2BOND everybody!
CLICK & WATCH: I got BULLSHIDO ON TV!!!

I started reading Bullshido, thought 'hmm.. you know I only got into this because I wanted to get good at fighting, but we don't do it often enough, and when we do it has weird unrealistic rules'.

Long ago I gave it one class ... and I was couple years into TKD ... and it was just stupid.
I wish I could have the 2 hours of my life back.
I couldn't get past the stupidity of Chain punching with my little pinky knuckles. It's not how a fist works.

Pressure Point Control Tactics (WINGCHUNLOL), and Basic Security Training level 2 which included some junk jitsu. <-- (i just made this up!)
It is technically the last thing i 'trained' in. I've trained in a shitload of different arts, attaining mastery of none.
Google PPCT. First hit explains all.

While I appreciate your openness and realize no thread is safe for those the threadstarter imagined to reply, please re-read the name of the thread and my opening posting.
I didn't ask "why did you stop doing that martial art some people on Bullshido think is just as bad as -ing -un"...
There are loads of threads on Bullshido that mix up all of that.
I would hate this thread become such a mix too.

Case studies are beneficial, but if you wanted to make it EXACT and scientific, should've made it a poll.
