That magicians self defense looks like the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I don't think that knife thing would work. But palming a knife to hide it. That's good. The knife would have to go through the bone structure of the chest, and with a little palm knife that would be impossable. A guy would have longer reach with a bat anyhow. The crap that people pass off as self defense makes me sick.

Come on, disappearing and then reappearing behind your attacker--sounds pretty cool. I think this is what Frye did to Tank Abbott in their UU fight...led Tank on, by pounding Tank's fists with his face, bleeding profusely, then flicked his hand, and, presto!, Tank falls down! Frye gestures, and reappears behind Tank and applies choke...
