ROUND KICK RUMBLE 8 BABY!! (Our next fight)
Here's the lineup for the next Round Kick Rumble that me and Kat will be attending next month
If anyone lives on Iowa, COME GIVE US SUPPORT!!! Manu is kicking our asses to get us in top shape for this, so we'll put on a damn good show ;)

Good luck to both of you. If I were in Iowa, first I'd consider killing myself. Then, I'd probably give up on that and support you both!

Iowa is pretty much the most barren place I've ever been to, but it's a good place for muay thai it seems.

Yeah, I'm just playing. Great place for wrestling too, that's for damned sure.
But seriously, that would be a great signature.
"I was saved from suicide by Kidspatula and Kat."
I may use that.
And, again, seriously, best of luck to both of you. We expect video of the victories.

Don't know how close Carrol is to Des Moines, but there are actually a few really good night clubs there.

If you don't mind me asking and have the time to reply, what is your training regime like at the moment?
I've got my first fight in about 6 weeks all being well, but i've only been doing Muay Thai for 3 months and my cardio sucks pretty bad as it's the first decent exercise i've done since leaving school 5 years ago.
At the moment the cardio/conditioning side of my class involves the following:
5-10 minutes of running forwards, backwards, sideways and criss-crossing the legs just to warm up a bit.
25 each of the following:
Wide arm press-ups
Close grip press-ups
3-5 minutes of knee ups, single step first, then double step. Both forwards and backwards
Then 25 of everything again.
10 minutes of wheel barrow exercises up and down the gym.
Then about 5 rounds of pad work, various combos, kicks, knees etc, 25 pushups in between each round
Then recently we've been having one partner with the belly shield and pads and the other with just gloves and sparring that way for about 4-5 3 minute rounds
3-4 rounds of standard sparring.
I need to work more on my cardio out of class though as a lot of this seems strength based.
Sorry for spamming! Delete or whatever if need be :-S
