    I wonder how good Andy's shootboxing game is these days.
    Does he compete there a lot? I recall 1 sb event he did in 2006.

    Unfortunately, i feel buakaw would get tooled by Andy in shootbox rules.

    Is that Andy Souwer? I saw some of his videos on youtube and he looked pretty good. Although for Shootboxing, I havent seen to many takedowns or anything.

    I believe he just won the last S-cup a couple months ago, so I think he's still probably considered the man on top.

    I think Andy would probably beat Buakaw under Shootbox rules, unless Buakaw KO'd him, which is always a possibility these days.

    Buakaw's won matches under san shou rules which are pretty similar (only no standing subs) so I could see him taking it to Souwer in a shootboxing match.

    Are you allowed to shoot in Sanshou? Like go to a knee to perform a takedown.

    You can't put a knee down, but lots of them shoot in a way that avoids it.
