SERE is Survival Evasion Resistence Escape school. My instructor happened to be a SERE instructor (prior to leaving the US Navy as a Senior Chief) and one of the students at the school went through SERE. SERE doesn't teach stealth kills or combat. It prepares at-risk military personnel for the possibility of being captured as POWs. Read the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SERE.It also had a section on SERE training which looked pretty hardcore -- the old 'sneak up and stab through the neck while pinching the nostrils so they don't squeal' techniques and such.
The guy sounds delusional. -

Ok, back to Liu Seong. For those with sharp eyes and memories, that's the system that Phil Elmore is currently working on. I can't speak for that program. I'm pretty sure I met his instructor years ago at seminars given in Rochester by Mr. Salamone. I wouldn't hold any ideological issues this board has with Phil against Reeder's system.
Hope all that helps.

Apparently his chinese name was Liu Seong, but his dutch was Willem Reeders.
And frankly, **** Phil Elmore, I would never confuse him with anybody else....:phil2:
Don't mind me, I'm being a crankly little bitch, but the Liu Seong thing is true, and so is "**** phil elmore" -

If you watch all of his videos of the "seminar" he apparently helped cure cancer and photophobia( temporary loss of vision).
Any self defense stuff I saw seemed like a bunch of slapping and jumping. Yes I saw them jump in the air prior to and during their attacks.
Lastly, it seems Kun Tao guys are so fast they can deflect a kick, roll under the person and trip them all before the leg is retracted.
Did I mention they learn to attack before the bad guys finish forming the thought to attack in the first place? -
