    ADCC North American Trials

To enter an event like the ADCC North American Trials do you have to be a world
class elite grappler?or can any grappler compete and only the best place?
I know you send a resume in to be considered.

The trials are still invite-only, which means you have to send in a resume to get invited. That means that resume has to be fairly impressive, because it's competing against the resumes of a lot of great grapplers.

Win a bunch of no-gi tournaments, and you have a good shot at getting in.

I Europe you have to win at least one of the major no-gi tournaments to enter. I would imagine that it would be even tougher in the US.
I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

    "Step away," I hissed.

i thought they had an "amateur" bracket, the top few finishers of which were seeded into the trials proper the next day.
