Anyone ever have any type of Squat-related leg pain? inside please
In the hip/upper leg/ass. Not in the knees.
I'm asking to see if this is something that's happened to other people or if this is unusual and so may be related to my old back problems.
Ok so i was on my last squat set (of 5x5x255) and I did... something. It was hard set, I did wobble, but I think I kept good form.
Symptom: I have sharp pains in my right leg along the sciatic nerve, mainly right near/under the hip joint, but also down to the knee. Its not steady but seems worse the higher I bring my knee.
Has anyone else had something similar?

Does it hurt along the front right where the leg meets the hip? With some tightness going down the inside of the thigh to the knee? Hurts especially when you've been sitting down and then stand up, but then loosens up and stops hurting after walking around for a bit?
Could be a pulled groin, did that a few weeks back from bad form on my squats or deadlifts I think (going too low, so my ass was below my knees).

Nope - only on the backside of the leg. And I go ATG on my squats.You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

could be a few things. could be a torn ass muscle, sounds a but like the torn adductor muscle i am currently being afflicted with. the fact that you didnt keel over would mean its a fairly minor tear.
or i could be talking out my ass (HAHAH SEE WHAT I DID THERE)

If you have insurance then get it checked out. I dislocated my hip doing squats. I wasn't even doing a heavy lift. Can't explain it. Doc suspected a prior injury that I ignored like my shoulder. I guess the point is is to not ignore injuries.
