What is the best stand up style

I believe that Muay Thai, and Taekwondo, would deffinatley dominate this catagory. Not that Taekwondo is usually praticed to be a true combat art, but with the right training, and proper use of technique, it can prove to work very well. Just my thoughts on the subject. any other oppinons?

Lol you said TKD because you do it :).

I do MT/Boxing so clearly I'm biased, but I think those two are the best.

This is probably just noob-talk, but I think kyokushin karate fighters do pretty well for themselves.

It depends on your style of TKD. Generally speaking TKD is mostly high spinning kicks. Those said kicks happen to be almost useless in a fight.
TKD also isnt usually practiced with any amount of contact. Mostly light sparring and contact (point sparring) So I would have to say that TKD is most definitely not in the top 10 stand up MA's.

Almost ANY art trained with Aliveness can work well. Even TKD, but for the most part this isnt done.

You mentioned MT. Why? Where did you get this opinion? From seeing how others seem to think so or did you form it from study and XP?

Please spend more time SEARCH FUNCTIONING and read a bit before starting assinine threads such as this one.

I think you are looking to be trolled for the attention it will get you.
    Stop.
