    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I was not even contemplating the ol' multiple attacker situation. I really have no fucking clue what the best thing to do would be in a multiple attacker situation. My best guess would be if you can create an opening then run for it. To that effect going to the ground seems like a bad idea. If you can't run or you feel really cocky and decide to fight instead then I can only imagine that it would be extremely messy.

Just think of the space required for certain submissions. I'm thinking: what if I was setting up the right angle for an armbar but there was someone behind me who stopped me from moving in that direction? Even if the guy wasn't hitting you if he was just standing in the right place he might defeat your submission. Have you ever gotten carried away while rolling and found that you couldn't pull off a submission because you were too close to the wall? Or because you collided with some other guys who were rolling with each other?

All this talk about snaping the arm off in one second and rolling out of it. It sounds good hypothetically speaking but has anyone ever tried that? In any form of ground fighting training, even in my BJJ class, I've never had someone say OK today you're going to grapple on the ground with one guy while another guy tries to pound you into the mat at the same time.

were you aware that when taking an armbar, you can just break the guy's arm and then roll out and up? Isn't that very similar to KOing someone in one blow?
other than the part where your opponent is still conscious and REALLY FUCKING ANGRY...

Really you could just use whatever the situation calls for, you can say your going to do one certain thing, it just happens.

That is english, and the truth is, is that you can never predict what is going to happen, so you just have to react to whatever does.
