"It is a bad idea to armbar on the "str33t" because someone can rip out your windpipe

    Yahoo answers strikes again! FTL!

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...5121521AAvo85l

I am truly dumbfounded that someone actually thinks you can rip out someone's windpipe while bieng armbarred.

I'm highly amused, yet saddened, confused, startled and disgusted. I just don't know anymore....

    yeah that too....

It was like seeing one of those "chi" vids for the first time- amazing.

He also thinks that bruce lee must be 2000 years old (or more) because apparently he was the first man ever to cross train, but that is another matter.

That place needs seeding with some facts. We need to get someone to act clueless and then they select the correct answer to a question and avoid any LARPing bullshit.

    Such sample questions may include:
    "Does Chi exist?"
    "Who is Ashida Kim?"
"Does TKD's status as an Olympic sport make it the best MA?"
    Etc, etc.
"Listen to Iscariot you Vicchysoise ninja-fuckers!" - kohadril
"Are you going to rise to godhood out of the ashes of Earth? " - frumpleswift
"I'll pray for you Iscariot." - Mas
"Iscariot, check your pulse and report back. We need to know if you are in fact, not alive." - Lu Tzu
"Iscariot is victorious!" - Dai Tenshi
    "More God delusions." - DAYoung
"Iscariot, despite our obvious doctrinal differences, I salute your exquisite bastardry, and take back half of all the bad things I ever said about you." - Zendetta

That was a really good discussion. There was absolutely no dumbasses on that page. All good, sober and realistic opinions. This is why I changed MA-forum to this site. There aren't any WT-guys that believe they can take on 7 opponents with knives(and live to tell the tale). I got sick and tired with the WT-guys at my ex-MA-forum. Hail to this forum and it's inhabitants.

And yeah about the ripping out of someones windpipe, that is just plain stupid.

I would seriously advise against attempting armbars to avoid being throttled by a much bigger, stronger guy that you just called a ***** due to being ****-faced drunk.

Not saying I've done it, but I seriously advise against it. It hurts. You don't get the armbar.

If you can rip out a windpipe to defend an armbar, then the guy can do it to you from mount instead of trying for the armbar.
