    if I may piggyback on this thread...

    Tonight in bjj, someone twisted my knee inward until it made a popping sound. There isn't much pain. What should I do? Glucosamine, check, Ibuprofen, check. Icepack, check, kneebrace, check. Icy hot, check, elevating it during sleep, check.

    Am I missing anything?

    I hope i didn't f*ck something severely.

    went to a doctor, X-rays didn't show anything (DUH!).
    I have an appointment with an orthopedist to get an MRI to see if I tore any ligaments.
    My knee is a little swollen. It doesn't hurt to put weight on. I can move laterally, the joint doesn't feel "loose". I can fully extend my leg, I can contract it to about a 65 degree angle between my two major leg bones. Do you all think I tore my ACL or just really sprained it?
