When you turn up for your class you line up at the front and the instructor punches you in the face.

" The reason elite level MMAists don't fight with aikido is the same reason elite level swimmers don't swim with their lips." - Virus
" I shocked him with my skills on the ice becuase Wing Chun is great for hockey fighting." - 'Sifu' Milt Wallace
"Besides, as you might already know (from Virus, for example) - there's only 1 wing chun and it sucks big time" - Tonuzaba
"Even when I'm promising mayhem and butt-chicanery, I'm generally posting with a smile on my face." - Sochin101
"That said, if he blocked my hip on a drop nage, I would extend my leg into a drop tai Otoshi and slam him so hard his parents would die." - MTripp

My Dad's 71 and has a stoma, I think teh grapple training's out for him. He carries his keys in his fist if he doesn't feel safe, I don't really have a problem with it. He beat off a mugger a few years ago: old men FTW!!
I would, however, have a problem with him keying someone's eye just because he 'looked' like a mugger...

You know, that techinque would totally work on my friend, a first dan BB in Juod with forty pounds on me. I should give up MMA class and just think of excuses to sucker-punch people.
I laughed SO much at that, due to the visual I got.
I'm grindin' 'till I'm tired...

I guess it's split between those who turn up early, hide behind the door and strike the late comers, and those who turn up late, hide on the other side of the door and lie in wait for the early people to leave.
