This reminds me of a fake add I saw for a Welsh martial art that had to do with attacking your enemy before they can attack you, ideally before they even know you exist. Now thats pre-emptive.

with my scrawny little arms, i doubt a preemptive strike would do me much good.

so if i ever need to like, take out an evil villian's henchmen or something, i'll single them out under cover of darkness, sneak up on them, and RNC them to death.

because brazilian jiujitsu works against everyone, in every situation!!1 =D

(even those in which ninjers believe their art superior: sneaking up on and killing people.)

The secret is to use your pre emptive strikes on complete strangers who have never seen you before, this is the power of LLAP-Goch! After your preemptive attack you will discover they really are enemies now! Ahah!! Now we know where W got his strategy from! He also is a master of LLAP-Goch!

This book is the most hilarious thing ever. I am perpertually ashamed of my fellow strikers who so adamantly refuse to learn any grappling and will stop at nothing to rationalize their bizzare elitism.

This book really highlights the attitude of the modern "pure striker" - if you think the other guy even might try to grapple you, fuckin' punch him in the throat while gouging his eye! This move is easy to set up from the "do you have the time?" set-up.

I mean, this book could be alternately titled: "Mugging people: The alternative to getting a job"
