I don't think so, although presumably he'd be in the advanced class by now. I know a Daniel, but he's only been doing it as long as I have.

Because the lower stripe while belts are in a seperate class I wouldn't have met him. Will keep my eyes open though, can't be that many colossal Kiwis about.

Ask about for him, I'd really like to spook him out through the power of the intarweb and say hello through you. Tell him Matt the pom from Brad's gym says hello.
Well built guy (but doesnt lift), blue belt, hard as ****, but very calm and friendly. Short dark hair. Puts his willy in sheep in his spare time.Imports from Japan, Shipping Worldwide! Art Junkie, Scramble, BJJ Spirits, Reversal...

Yep, that's basically all correct, although I will note that there is a £100 fee for advanced class students, rather than the £90 for beginners, and that it's not always a blue belt taking the intro. Usually, it's a purple or brown, but it depends on the day and time for exactly who you get.
And...yeah. I could throw you a description of an advanced class, but it's not all that much different. It's a half-hour longer, and that half-hour is generally sparring from the knees, in typical BJJ style. S'about all that's worth mentioning. ^_^
Anything you want to ask about, just shout and I'll help where I can.
Take care,
Stalks
