Oh good lord, did you check the prices on the other equipment on that site??? For that kind of money, the Mexican style headgear they sell should come accessorized with a real live Mexican.

Not at all. I was inferring that if one does TKD, they have more opportunity to meet die damen (de ladiez!). Hella better opportunity chance than meeting chicks at say....Judo or BJJ or some other things.

In my mind, aerobic kick box classes at McGyms are only thing that rival TKD for meeting de chicks!

It's probably premium price tag they are putting on top of it. Import cost isn't that much unless they are flying this stuff in. Most likely, they ship it by boxes or if operation is large enough...ship by containers.
