$ 165 US. probably plus shipping. They sell at http://www.daidojuku.com/eng/index.htm under shop.

Then again, how much are Lacross helmets? If they're like 300 bux, than yeah it'd be cheap.

The thing about Lacross helmets though is everyone already has them (granted they're in lacross) but you never know. Honestly, I don't think $160 is in the average college student's price range (with Judo classes at $50 a month is sure isn't in mine)

Although I haven't examined it in the flesh, I cannot envision how this headgear provides any more protection than more common full face headgears available at less than a third of the price. Is there something specific or special about the protection afforded by this "space helmet" that doesn't show through in the picture which would justify such a high premium? (If it is meant for weapon impact protection, then it's probably the reverse problem: too flimsy and cheap.)

... and what the **** is with those gloves? Are they a $40 pair of socks with holes in the toes or what?

I think Santa is going to bring me a Spacehelmet for Christmas. That or I might get one for $140 at Winning USA. http://www.winning-usa.com/products_ma.html

Also available in 3 different colors there (white, black, or red).

They also got cool stuff like the Big Mitt you always see in the KK training videos.

Sounds like it was a great time. I wish I could have made it. It would have been interesting to see the similarities/differences between this and the things I've been learning from Gongkwonyusul.

There definitely needs to be some cross competing there.

    That's Gongkwonyusul.

It's nowhere near as wide-spread in Korea as Kudo is, but as Korean gets bit by the MMA/non-sucky MA training bug, I'm sure it will flourish.
