It's indeed a good thought. I'm not really up on US military things, so I'm not really sure how to go about it.

I did Google 'K431-0097' before I posted. Every single mention of it out there seems to be related to Dux in some way. On the other hand, if it's some classified training manual, why would legit people be talking about it on the interweb?

In my time in the Army, I never saw a manual with a designator of that format. Manuals fall into a couple of different types FM (field manuals as in FM 25-150 Combatives), TM (Technical Manuals as in TM 9-1005-213-25 M2 .50 cal Machine Gun), AR (Army Regulations as in AR 670-1 Wear of the Uniform), but tyhis is supposedly a Navy Manual..I will ask around

I've been having a browse around and I did locate some 'FM's from the 80s and 90s. Anything current would be unavailable to the public, right?

I sent the question to a former SEAL buddy of mine. Here is my question and his response: Me "Hey Brother,

Have you ever seen or heard of a Navy SEAL CFC SPECWAR Manual: K - 431-0097?
Would love to know if this exists and who wrote it.

Him "I don't know if I've heard of it. I think they used Frank Dux awhile back when they were first getting into using outside trainers to teach some combat fighting. Now they dabble in Jiu Jitzu and Sayoc Kali."

In any case,, Burke's claim was that Dux wrote the manual. In that video, Dux is listed in the acknowledgements -- along with seven other people and two institutions. Hardly the same thing.

It's the same with most of these BS artists. They claim to control the lightning, and as proof they present a lightning bug in a jar.

Even if that document turns out to be legitimate, it doesn't prove Burke's claim at all.

Thanks very much for that. Well, the military have checked out and do check out all sorts of hand-to-hand stuff to determine whether it might be a useful addition to their training programmes, don't they?

I note that in all the current stuff on the web that I've been able to locate, Dux never actually directly states that he wrote the manual, as such (he refers to himself as a 'source contributor'). Interestingly, he left it to Burke to actually make that claim on his behalf, to be put up on the internet by Sky Benson...
