I can't get on the site at present but according to:

    http://www.ehow.com/how_5097500_some...y-records.html

    You need:

    • Full, legal name of the person
    • Branch of service
    • Social Security Number (SSN) and birth date of the person
    • U.S. Government Military Request Form SF-180 (not required for electronic filing of request)

So probably not, at this point (hence why I was considering going through POWnetwork to see if they could help).

"3/28/70 but has 20 years of military service starting in 1979? Really?"

Where did you get that b-day? That would be an insane lie to tell. Surely not.

Ok. I ran into that too. I'm a noob. I have a credit card & am not afraid to use it, though. Fear the Hansen.

    Wow! Huge blunder.

"Billy started tournament fighting at the age of 16. He was forced to fight in the mens division. By the age of 20 he had amassed 800 trophies in fighting and kata culminating it all by winning the United States Championship in Dallas Texas in 1978."

    Age 16-20=4yrs. 800 trophies (exactly?).
    200 per year.
    16.6 per month
    4.15 per week.

Then he joins the army. At 9.

Yes, they can and do. They are all under SOCOM, or special operations command, and have a unique chain of command. I really don't remember much of the details but I do remember that all the branches' spec ops under that except force recon

Certainly does not line up. Based on that model pic, I bet he is lying about his age.
One of the best Bullshido investigations ever written: http://www.bullshido.org/David_Kujawski_Investigation

There's a video of him here (washing his cat).
    http://www.indieproducer.net/video/billycatshow-1

    A 40-something guy, or a 50-something guy who's been looking after himself?

The number at the start of the vid is a cell phone in LA, FWIW (no, I didn't phone him).

    Writeup is now published:

    http://www.bullshido.org/Billy_J._Burke

Burke never served a day, and was paid to make claims about Dux which he admits were based on no military experience, and thus false.

Wow. Just wow. Nice job - that is one of the most damning investigations I've ever read here. :flipando:

Obviously, he's been making claims of military service for years prior to the Dux video, presumably to boost his credibility as a martial arts instructor and launch a career as a Hollywood action star/fight choreographer? If that is indeed the case, it's utterly sickening.

...and what the **** is this?

    http://www.trsdirect.com/talent.php?id=Burke
And... you’ll finally learn “The Punch” — the stunning nerve-shattering strike that is the meat-and-potatoes of the best combat veterans he’s trained. (Instant fight-ending technique.)
Did he/they figure that the rubes were getting wise to tales of Dim Mak/Ninja Death Touches and decide to put an RBSD spin on the same old bullshit?
