    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Maryland Temple Wing Chun real or fraud?

    http://www.templewingchun.com/

Has anyone been to this place or heard of the instructors there? It's in Columbia, MD. One of the head instructors is Sifu Shannon Moore. I was thinking about taking it but I don't know how credible this place is.

Last time I looked they did not have their address available on the website, you had to fill in a form etc and they'd call you back. I remember emailing back and forth with the guy a while back, he semed like a reasonable person. Skill-wise I have no idea, he certainly looks BIG in those pics.

Their club is somewhere in Kings Contrievance, I think if you go to martialartsplanet.com and ask around, you may get more info.

And just to do my pitch here, do not overlook judo...http://baltimorejudo.mysite.com

I don't know about the school, but their website makes me want to claw my eyes out of my head. Didn't think they still made 'em like that anymore, reminds me of the late 90's...

Cool, I hadn't found that place in the area yet. I'll put it on my list of schools to check out. Seems like about an hour drive from me.

Yeah, it is a half-hour drive for me. I went to look for it but I couldn't find it so I'm probably just going to go with either BJJ or Muay Thai.

Which side of B'more are you in?

Your best choice (but pricy) would probably be Groundcontrol (http://www.planetmayhem.net/academy.htm). Their BJJ is superb and a friend of mine is coaching kickboxing there, dangerous Croatian.

This is not bad either, this is where I train:
(http://baltimoremartialarts.com), the website is funny, but the BJJ is pretty good, and they have KB program.

And while you are deciding you may want to come train judo with us, $8 matfee and you can use one of our club gis. (http://baltimorejudo.mysite.com)
