Who can beat GSP?
After seeing GSP dominate Hughes in UFC 65, do you think anyone currently in the division can dethrone the new king? If not, do you think anyone from another organization could beat him?
I still think Hughes could beat him. Certainly not a majority of the time, maybe 3/10. Diego Sanchez is a monster. Maybe he would have a shot. I think he'll get his chance soon enough. Riggs is improving and he seems to match up with GSP pretty well. Serra doesn't have a chance. But I don't see anyone who is on GSP's level right now.

Riggs = Nope, no offense to Joe but he has a lot of ground to cover to catch GSP.
Serra = Nope, Matt's good but with these two being buddies I expect this to look like a sparring match.
Diego = I don't see Diego being able to stand with GSP which is a huge factor, plus if Matt couldn't take George down how do Diego?
Hughes = Very good chance, much better than 30%. This is much closer to 50% and depends on how both of them train for the fight. Remember Hughes fights better when he's hungry. (But then again so does George.)
Karo = Possibly. Karo has the skills to make it a rough night for George, this is a 30% fight.
BJ is a huge possibility but the rumour of him dropping to 155 makes a lot of sense. Outside of maybe Fitch and Joslin (note both of these guys need some serious ring time but have the potential) I don't know who is currently signed with the UFC that could bring a fight for George.

I'd say BJ as well. Matt looked kinda old and slow during their last fight. very strange way to see him.You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

I'd agree that Hughes has a roughly 50% chance of winning back the title. He looked a bit out of sorts against GSP, but he does have the skillset and power. He'd have to adapt his game a bit, though.
I just don't think Karo, Serra and Riggs are quite at the same level. I'd like to see BJ fight GSP next.Mr Politically Correct GIJoe6186:
