seriously whats wrong with the point he is making with "We need to be like the cat, always vigilant, and have total lack of hesitation when attacked."). it may nt be the best way to say it but yeah thats what you need to be.

I'm sorry, telling people that they need to be like cats in order to win street fights is just plain not sound advice. Every time I see some gangbanger going toe to toe with a housecat, the criminal usually wins, though I have seen some pretty awesome matches where street toughs lost to Ocelots.

Seriously, what the hell are you doing defending someone who said that people need to be vigilant like the cat? What's next, wax on, wax off, flow like water and find your center?

-Yep. I'll go fondle all the custom knives on Saturday and do the tactical seminar on Sunday. The instructors are Mercop, Michael Yurco, Jerry Jancuk and a 4th to be determined. I'll definately do a review when it all said and done.

Have fun! Grumble grumble. I was supposed to be one of the instructors also. I had to cancel because of work though.

At least I won't be able to get myself in trouble with the wife by buying more knives. :)

I would just like to point out how cats fight.

My first can rushes second cat. Second cat usually does a throw or elevator sweet, to take mount. At this point bottom cat, clinches and uses feet to repeatedly beat top cat in the body and head until he can sweep. Wash, rinse repeat until they run away.
