NorthWest took part in his first judo tournament for a wee while, not particularly prepared, according to himself.
After his first fight ( a loss), he seems to have picked up the pace and won the two next fights. That was enough to give him a line-up.
A line-up, for those of you not familiar with JudoScotland requirements for gradings, is basically you against three opponents, one at a time. No time off between fights, if you loose you're off, if you win you have just received your black belt.
Which he did.
Well done, mate.
