There are some ITA schools that we have competitions with here in the UK, and they are pretty good, but then I found out that they are the Imperial TaeKwon-Do Association.

Imperial? Hmm, which empire are they affiliated with? That just begs for a Star Wars reference...

I tried . . . TRIED to watch the whole thing . . . but . . . it SUCKED!! It sucked necrotic canine anal glands.

They should hang, draw, and quarter the instructors, setting the pieces on spikes around the city as a warning.

That form looked an awful lot like an ATA form. Any connections to them?

I actually believe that ITA came from the guys who thought ATA was too hard and ATA came from the ITF/WTF and thought that was too hard. In other words pussies line up to the left in the wimp line.

In 1983 when the ATA went to the "Songham" forms, the founders of the ITA broke off and formed the USTA/ITA. In January of 2000, they changed the name to just ITA.

For the record, Keith Wahlbon is no longer affiliated with the ITA (nor any other martial arts) and another instructor is running that school. The webmaster did not take that website down for whatever reason.

For more information on the ITA, visit www.tkd.org.

Yah, its kind of sad but I stayed with these guys for about two years...then I found an MMA school and joined them. Funny thing is, I have to give them credit for my standup....all those damn kicks up and down the floor rubbed off on me somehow.
