Style: Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, H&K
Michael Buell trains out of his garage in Anthem, AZ in what he calls on his website "Buell Fighting Systems," which is actually just a basic form of MMA/Shooto. His walls are lined with many championship belts, some verifiable and some more difficult to. His classes are reasonably priced for their quality, but the training environment is not what it could be. It consists of a large wrestling mat covering the entirety of his garage floor, a not-so-heavy bag hanging in the corner, and cabinets filled with some decent fight gear. The workout itself is barely there. The class focuses mostly on proper technique in boxing, muay thai kicking, takedowns and groundwork. The groundwork contains the basics, enough to get by with, but nothing special, while the main focus is mostly on boxing skills. The biggest upside to training with Michael Buell is that he is almost ALWAYS available for training and completely willing to work around your schedule. On the downside, he is also very short-tempered and opinionated. You are likely to hear racial remarks during class since Buell is, in fact, openly a Neo-Nazi and a racist, stating that "The color of your uniform is the color of your skin." While his classes and instruction are decent, his attitude is highly lacking and he does not treat all students with the same level of respect. Making mistakes can also possibly get you expelled from his classes moreso than improper conduct. In the end, while his methods may be suitable for some, many may benefit far more from staying clear of him.
is badder than you

Yeah, that's... pretty damning right there. Doubly horrible when one considers this:

A whole new generation of Racists..er uhm.....white nationalists.

I'll give him this much, though... the whole white-nationalist thing probably sells tickets. I, for one, would pay a lot of money to see him KTFO by a Genki Sudo somersault kick and the ensuing flag waving.
Sorry if I'm derailing things here... I just have a tough time believing that people like this still even exist.

funny, he always tried to brainwash his students into thinking he had never lost a fight!
If you look at his site, he even won the grand "Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame" belt that's so prestigious I've never even heard of it for his FLAWLESS fight record!
