Hightechammotogo sells a .22lr incendiary round. Load your 10/22 with that **** and word will get around the varmint community.

I wonder how effective it would be against two-legged vermin. I do worry about lack of penetration, though.
I'm sure it has some penetration, but it is a highly frangible round. Traveling around 4000fps, as long as it doesn't hit a shirt button or a blade of grass, I'm sure its good.

I'm all excited now, but a google search yielded nothing. I must test these bullets out, please help!

Why not just put some magnesium powder and red phosphorus in your .22 HP? Don't pay some asshole 20x what the rounds are worth just because you think the product is exotic.

By the way, tracers are not the same thing as incendiaries.

I appreciate your comment, but I shoot a lot of .22's because it is so cheap. I also like to try different rounds for my own amusement. I'm certainly not going to pay 20x for anything. Refer to previous post for evidence of cheapness!!

You gonna get some people to kill themselves trying to pull off the right mixture doing that. HAHA

SFGOON, try telling that to the dry grass at a live fire range. All it takes is the one tracer to go into the grass instead of the mound and you have a fire.

As a retard who has actually started a small fire with a 50 cal, armor-piercing incendiary tracer round...I can certainly back this up. I saw the bullet hit a rock (which it passed through my target), saw the incendiary/tracer portion of the bullet separate and go flying through the air, land in some wheat-ish dry grass and it immediately started burning.
Fortunately...my big ass was able to sprint downrange and stomp the **** out before it turned into a REAL fire....but lesson learned; if you're going to shoot tracer/incendiary ammo---always keep a small fire extinguisher on-hand.
