Thanks- that was a well done review. I'm an Edmonchuk guy- I'll have to go check it out. My Kenpo instructor (Vern Goreman) who's school closed a while back said these guys were good too, I seem to recall. He does MMA (King of the Cage/ MFC)refing these days so he'd likely know who's getting stomped and who is putting out decent fighters lol.
I like that drop in thing- I work a messed up work routine too.
PS: Hey guys at Arashi do. Saw your Tournament at the old air hangar. It was quite the thing sirs, most impressed. Quite the sweat fest- could knock over a bull with the odeur in that joint :XXpuke: , but it added to the ambiance  So many catagories. I plan to join you next year for some submission/ no gi- some kickboxing too. Bunch of guys from our club were checking out the scene. You look like you run a tight ship, we all liked it lots. Big crowd. Good fighters (esp. your guys/gals). Wish we would have entered- next year for sure. Gotta come by for a visit soon- I'm in the neighborhood in the South.Last edited by praetorian01; 4/11/2008 3:44am at .

I do BJJ, not MT so I can't comment specifically. However - I know that you will not be thrown to the wolves. :) You will be in a beginners class with people of similar skill levels. You will be expected to work hard, and you will get some bruises, but there's no need to fear for your life. No one will be trying to knock your head off. The club is accepting of new students and treats them as new students (ie, more skilled people will not treat a beginner the same way they would a more experienced student, beginners are expected to have the skills of beginners). The more experienced people will help you develop your skills.
