ECBJJ Eduardo Carriello Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Nearly all classes taught by Eduardo Carriello BJJ black belt from Brazilian Top Team. Located two locations near London bridge. It has recently become affiliated with Gracie Barra. Becoming Gracie Barra London Bridge.

The membership is cheaper than other London clubs and there are 7 classes a week with more opening soon.

I have been training here for 6 months and I have been very impressed with the standard of instruction and the all round club.

    Instructor/Student Ratio:9
Nearly all classes are taught by Eduardo and are relatively small size. He sticks around after class to help with any specific questions you might have about technique.

    Atmosphere/Attitude:9
Friendly club, kind to new people. Has a place for more serious competitors and hobbyists

    Grappling Instruction:9
Pressure-tested, full range grappling and proven success in limited restriction, top level competitions or high level self defense situations.

    Aliveness:9
Sparring at every class. Grappling only as its a BJJ school.

    Equipment:8
Mats in good condition. Crash mats available. Showers/sauna changing rooms.

    Gym Size:7-8
As the club runs in two locations this varies from class to class.

Thanks for posting this - very interesting. I think he may have been at HM Treasury before and moved. Not sure if I'm correct on this.

Anyway, as said, thanks for posting.

I dont quite understand what you mean by being at HM Treasury. Is it a club or do you mean the UK taxman?

Eduardo used to run classes at the HM Treasury in Whitehall many years ago.
