Meh, I wish I could get PPV.
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.
My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.
New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.
t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.
The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

David Bielkheden, who faced Ishida, is an instructor at my school. I was hoping he'd pull off the upset, but the fight went pretty much as expected.
I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.
"Step away," I hissed.

Shinya Aoki has a great triangle, really great stuff.
Sanae Kikuta showed great control but couldn't finish Lenogue.
Joe Pearson did a great job to regain guard for the finish, don't see the guard regained like that too often.
Minowa vs Mike 'Machine Gun' Barton - Expecting this to be a one-sided freak show fight, Mike actually showed some surprising ground technique escaping submissions, reversing and standing up. I thought he was going to knock Minowa out actually but alas, the big thick man ran out of gas. Entertaining.
Obiya looks like that kissing guy, was really creapy watching it.
Gomi-Aurelio - Yawner. Too cautious, but rightly so. I felt the green card should have came a bit earlier.
Misaki-Filho - Again, great ground control. Expected outcome.
Gono-Kang - Nothing special, expected outcome. Gono's ring entrance bored me by trying too hard.
Misaki-Kang - Great fight, poor Filho got some ligament damage apparently. -
