BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

I watched this fight last night. What a snore fest..I haven't seen a fight that boring in a long time. There was finally some action in the 12th round when Briggs knocked Lyakhovich through the ropes.
I was a huge fan of Briggs in the beginning of his career and I thought for sure he was destined to become a champ. He started off as a 205 lb hevyweight and now he weighs like 263 or something...
Anyways, after the loss to Lewis he sort of dissappeared and now he is WBO champ. I can't help but think he may have been much more of a fighter with some better management.
Guy sure can hit though..." If one wants to have a friend one must also want to wage war for him: and to wage war one must be capable of being an enemy." - Fr. Nietzsche 'On The Friend' Thus Spake Zarathustra -

Yeah. Pretty dull fight with a pretty dull undercard.
I wonder what this'll do for the rankings. Before the fight Sergie was 5th and briggs wasn't in the top 10. I hope to god someone tries to consolidate the titles. You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there. -

Probably. Baldy wasn't a credible thread to flloyd and everyone knew it except him. I always watch the heavies if I get the chance since that's where I live. Like I tell my coach, I'm not lazy, I'm a heavyweight. I'm only supposed to throw 20 punches a round.
