See the Chorus thread. What they're fed up with is not people criticizing TKD, but people outside TKD telling them what they THINK is wrong with TKD.

Thus, while this is TKD Sucks Month, and Buddha knows I love a good TKD joke more than most of you non-TKDers...

It is also an opportunity to logically and critically address what the problems are with TKD...and discuss what can be done about it, without nutriding and all the "HUR-HUR KEEP YOUR HANDS UP N00B" talk.

BFGilbraith has made some good points, I will give him that. I concur, TKDers need to get back in touch with their karate roots.

    After all, Kyokushin = T3h r34l K0r34n k4r4t3.

Why are we bringing the Filipinos into this?

A couple of MT guys I know get pissed if you call them kickboxers, or MT kick boxers. The only thing you can call them is Thai boxers or MT fighters.

Actually, I have no idea of the history between those two things. But MT people get pissed off when you say that. It's a great way to aggitate the touchy ones.

I'll have you know the Thai stole Khmer boxing from the Cambodians, not Lethwei from the Burmese!
