Daido Juku (Kudo) in NY

I have been emailing the Daido Juku org in Japan about starting a branch in the US. They have emailed me back and send they may send a representative on Nov.22. By NY, I assune they mean Manhattan or the surrounding area. Anyone else interested? Email them at DWHQ@daidojuku.com

"Thank you for your reply. As we received 7 mails for

of Kudo Daido Juku NY¡É in last 2 months, we sent mails to all of you

make sure of your will. Happily we got 4 mails yesterday. That¡Çs why
Kudo
Daido Juku HQ delegation to help the tournament held Colombia decided

drop in on New York on 22nd November. How about talking an
establishment/restart of Kudo Daido Juku NY. If you can agree to this
plan,
please reply asap. Furthermore if some of you has an will to be a
representative NY state branch chief, please let us know. We¡Çll tell
you
requirement/ condition of it."

Apareently a few people have been emailing them about a NY branch. Also I have been told there are some green belts still training in NY, they still haven't said where. Anyone know them?

Nov 22 at 5:00 at the New Yorker hotel is where they plan to hold a meeting about opening up a branch of Daido Juku stateside.

Am I the only one excited about this? Are they any New York metro area kyokushin or judo types who have time to meet up? I hear Azuma is the one coming. He is the guy from the first half of this vid. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FSE9u1p7TW4

Its O'Brien and I think I may have met you already Kempo Fist at Stonybrook. Ogrsx knows me from Enshin. I am the dark skinned guy. LI Guy, did you train with a guy named Brian at your BJJ place in Ronkonkoma, he knows me from Enshin too. I think I mu=ight have saw you at the sport Jiu Jitsu thing over the summer.

So no one cares about Daido Juku? Now I feel like a loser...

I know of a school here in Montreal that offers Kudo.I just have to find the time to get off my ass and go train there.

So you say Azuma might be going to NY himself?

I got a similiar email myself except the date range was Nov 22~23 and on 17:00 (5pm) in NYC. My work doesn't end till later than that and I work all the way out on exit 49S on LIE.

Now I'm complating if I should take half day just to show up!

edit: Date I think is revised to be Nov. 21st.
