I can vouch for KempoFists non suckage since training there. I remember sparring him before he was in BJJ at Serra's (sucked on ground a lot), compared to where he is now- I can't throw him around at will anymore :( Based on grappling him nowadays its a good school, plus its got some Pro MMA fighters training there.

hey im from west babylon and looking into schools. do they do any stand up at all there? and does anyone know of any good muay thai/kickboxing schools near me. theres some place called cambells in amityville but it seemed more for kids. in your guys opion what do you think is the best school overall on long island? im 27 athletic and looking for a place to train instead of going to a gym and dont want to be around a bunch of kids. any help would be much appreciated.

what's up I'm in West Babylon also. I went by Serra's place yesterday. I wasn't too impressed with the facility but the guys seemed to know what they're talking about and I've heard nothing but good things. I'm looking for a training partner I need to work on my conditioning if you're interested hit me up nymortgagepro@aol.com

They don't do standup in regular classes, but I often see blue belts and above come in and work some standup privates with I think one of the guys from Longos. Mostly padwork and drills there. If you want standup, Serras sister school is Ray Longos kickboxing in Mineola.

No idea. Bound to be expensive if you do them separately, but I'm pretty sure you could do Jits and kickboxing at Longos without going to Serras and it would be considerably cheaper.
