Forearmed, perhaps you should go to the specific forum we have for such 'discussion creating' and 'changing your mind' posts. You'll have to re-register as it's on a different server.

No discussion allowed on Bullshido? And no changing people's minds? Tell me what this forum is for then, because I must have missed something in the forum rules.

When have you participated in a discussion? You start a thread stating an incorrect belief as fact, you get corrected, and then you take it back. What was accomplished?

Lots of discussion takes place on Bullshido, but your apparent 'special' type of pointless posting, along with your paper thin hide will be much safer in MAP.

VF has just given you the best advice for any noobie, do, for the love of something dear, take it.

That line should be mandatory reading in Newbietown BTW.

I won't take it but thanks anyway.

(edit) does that make your posts in this thread pointless too? (end edit)

And actually, I thought the bayonet training was fucking cool. Probably useless, but really fun.

As opposed to combatives, which was pitiful. If a mediocre blue belt such as myself can reverse omoplata such newbies at will in the combatives tournament, imagine what someone on a bjj black belt level could do.

I learned the attitude of a few posters, and you have learned mine (I think.) I conclude that this thread is not pointless because your posts in it are not pointless. And someone please show me justification for calling me thin skinned.

(edit) I also conclude that combatives training in the military is pitiful based upon the information I have read in the responses. Is that good or bad? (end edit)
